Registrant Rights & Responsibilities

ICANN requires every accredited registrar to make these documents available to its registrants. They are published here in full for your reference.

Registrant Rights

As a registrant of a domain name registered through Community Advice s.r.o., you have the following rights:

  1. Your domain name registration and any privacy/proxy services are subject to the terms and conditions of the registrar's registration agreement, and to ICANN's Consensus Policies.
  2. You are entitled to review the current ICANN Consensus Policies and temporary policies at icann.org/policies.
  3. You have the right to receive clear and accurate information about the fees charged for registration, renewal, transfer, restoration and any other services, before purchase.
  4. You have the right to expect that the registrar will fulfil its obligations to maintain accurate WHOIS/RDDS data and to provide a mechanism to correct it.
  5. You have the right to transfer your domain name registration to another ICANN-accredited registrar in accordance with ICANN's Transfer Policy.
  6. You have the right to be notified of the registrar's renewal and post-expiration (ERRP) practices, including applicable fees and timelines.
  7. You have the right to raise a complaint about the registrar to ICANN if you believe it is not meeting its obligations.

Registrant Responsibilities

As a registrant, you are responsible for:

  1. Reviewing and complying with the registrar's registration agreement and any applicable ICANN policies.
  2. Providing and maintaining accurate, complete and up-to-date contact (WHOIS/RDDS) information for your domain name(s). Wilfully providing inaccurate information, or failing to respond to a registrar's request to correct it, may be grounds for cancellation of the registration.
  3. Responding to enquiries from the registrar within fifteen (15) days, and keeping your account information current.
  4. Reviewing the registrar's policies governing renewal and the recovery of expired domains, including any associated fees.
  5. Paying registration, renewal and other applicable fees on time.

WHOIS / RDDS accuracy

You must keep the contact details associated with your domain accurate. If your information is found to be inaccurate, we may contact you to correct it. To review or update your data, or to report inaccurate WHOIS data for a domain we sponsor, contact us at our contact page.

If we don't meet our obligations

If you believe Community Advice s.r.o. is not complying with its obligations as an ICANN-accredited registrar, you may file a complaint with ICANN's Contractual Compliance team:
